What Does a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Involve?


There are two different types of bankruptcy that typically apply to individual bankruptcy filers, chapter seven and chapter 13. Chapter 13 is what we call the reorganization, that basically means that it’s a payment plan, which most people are apprehensive about, but you have some added flexibility in Chapter 13 with some of the debts that you can adjust, which you might not otherwise have in chapter seven.
